A Physician Advisory Board engages physicians to gather input from an array of community physicians, in order to inform and advise the Board. The Partnership Program Intervention Committee (P-PIC) includes representatives from each hospital as well as a number of community partners to review programs, monitor key performance indicators, oversee continuous quality improvement efforts, and evaluate and recommend proposed new projects.
Annice Cody - Chair
Annice Cody is the President of Holy Cross Health Network, Holy Cross Health's community-based operating division. Prior to assuming this role in April 2014, Annice was the Chief Strategy Officer for Holy Cross Health. Prior to joining Holy Cross Health, she worked as a vice president at the Lewin Group, a health care consulting firm in Fairfax, VA.
Dan Cochran - Finance Committee Chair
Daniel Cochran is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center. Dan has over 25 years of experience in healthcare financial management, operational leadership and strategic planning. Prior to joining the Shady Grove team, Dan served as Vice President of Finance for the Reading Hospital and Medical Center in Pennsylvania.
Yancy Phillips, MD - P-PIC Committee Chair
Yancy Y Phillips, M.D., is the Chief Quality Officer for Holy Cross Health, Silver Spring, MD. Dr. Phillips is responsible for patient safety, risk management, performance improvement, infection control, clinical informatics, and accreditation and regulatory compliance for the Maryland Region. Prior to joining Trinity Health in 2009, Dr. Phillips worked as Deputy Medical Inspector for National Quality Assessments with the Veterans Healthcare Administration.
Diana Saladini is the Director of Population Health and Outpatient Services at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center where she works to design and implement a comprehensive population health and community benefit program in coordination with community partners. Prior to joining MedStar, Saladini held positions as financial consultant and comptroller in the healthcare industry, and accountant for the Health Care Financing Administration.
Marta Brito Perez
Marta Brito Pérez serves as Adventist HealthCare’s Senior Vice President for Population Health and Post-Acute Care Service where she directs the design and implementation of Adventist's population health programs. Prior to Adventist, Ms. Pérez served with AstraZeneca Pharmaceutical as Global Vice President for Talent and Vice President for North America and Global Marketing. Ms. Perez also served as a Assistant Secretary with the US Department of Homeland Security and Assistant Director of OPM.
Ms. Sanfuentes leads Suburban Hospital’s health transformation and improvement commitment to the community, which aims to improve quality of life and reduce hospitalizations. Aligning hospital and community assets as well as focusing on unaddressed identified needs, she links health partnerships, community initiatives, strategic affiliations and collaboration with health coalitions, outreach activities, wellness programs and corporate projects to address established health barriers, disparities and inequalities. Ms. Sanfuentes completed her Master’s degree at Middlebury College and Master of Business Administration at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
